To disable onion skin in Roblox Studio, open the Animation Editor and turn off the Onion Skin option or button in the editor toolbar. If it still seems stuck on, toggling onion skin off and back on again can reset it, and some shortcuts can be customized in File → Advanced → Customize Shortcuts by searching for “skin.”

What to try

  1. Open the animation you’re working on.
  2. Find the Onion Skin toggle in the Animation Editor.
  3. Click it to disable the ghosted frames.
  4. If the display looks weird, toggle it off and back on to recalibrate.

If it won’t go away

The feature can appear to stay visible on the currently selected layer or rig until you deselect it, so try clicking away from the selected object first.
