To turn off Roblox voice chat on PC, open Roblox, go to Settings → Privacy and Content Restrictions → Communication , then switch Voice Chat off. Some guides also note that you may need to turn off related microphone/camera input options to fully stop voice use in-game.

Steps on PC

  1. Open Roblox and sign in.
  2. Click the gear/settings icon.
  3. Choose Settings.
  4. Open Privacy and Content Restrictions.
  5. Go to Communication.
  6. Toggle Voice Chat off.

If it keeps turning back on

Some users report that voice chat can re-enable itself or that the option may appear differently depending on the account and platform. If that happens, check for any in-experience Voice Chat or Connect/Disconnect control and make sure your device microphone permissions are also disabled.

Roblox’s help says Voice Chat is not enabled by default and is managed through Roblox settings or in-experience voice controls for eligible users.
