You can enter line breaks in Discord by pressing Shift + Enter instead of just Enter. That lets you type the text below on a new line without sending the message.

How to do it

  • Type your first line.
  • Press Shift + Enter.
  • Type the next line.
  • Repeat as needed.
  • Press Enter by itself when you’re ready to send.
