Lithium in multiplayer

If you already found lithium in Subnautica 2 multiplayer, the usual issue is that the node has been picked clean and you need to wait for it to respawn or move to another spot. Recent guides point to a few repeatable areas: southwest from the Lifepod near a wreckage, then deeper into the large clam- like area called The Great Jaw, where there are multiple lithium deposits inside.

What to do next

  1. Go back to the same lithium spot later and check whether it has respawned.
  1. Split up with your co-op partner and search a second location instead of camping one node.
  1. Head southwest from the Lifepod toward the drop-off, follow the crater wall, and look near the colony wreckage for the first easy piece.
  1. Continue to The Great Jaw and collect the larger cluster inside, but move carefully because the area can close when triggered.

Multiplayer tip

In co-op, resources can feel β€œgone” simply because someone already grabbed the nearest piece, so it helps to mark the location and circle back after exploring elsewhere. One guide specifically notes that the coral-dome lithium outside the building can respawn over time, which makes it the best place to revisit first.

Fastest fix

If you want lithium right now , the best bet is to leave the first spot and go to The Great Jaw rather than waiting on a single node. That area is described as having a lot of lithium inside, making it the stronger farm route once you know how to enter and exit safely.

TL;DR: in multiplayer, lithium you already found is usually just depleted or temporarily unavailable, so revisit after a while or move to another known location like the wreckage area or The Great Jaw.
