  1. Use the NIMC mobile app. Public guides and recent videos describe downloading the official NIMC app, signing up with your NIN, verifying your identity with a selfie, and then viewing your ID card/details in the app.
  1. Visit a NIMC office. If the phone method does not work or you need stronger support, NIMC says you can go to a nearby office.

What you can see

The USSD route is mainly for recovering your NIN number , while the app/portal method is the one people use to access more of their biodata and related details. Publicly available guides mention name, date of birth, address, phone number, and slip printing as common details available through the app or online access path.

Important note

Only use the phone number you enrolled with, because that is the line NIMC expects for retrieval. Some third-party posts mention online portals and apps, but the safest official starting points are NIMC’s USSD service and NIMC’s own mobile/app services.

Simple answer

If you want just your NIN, dial *346# on your registered phone line. If you want to see more of your details, use the NIMC app or go through NIMC’s supported login/retrieval process.
