To get at least 200 Spirit in POE2, you usually combine the campaign Spirit buffs with Spirit on gear. The main permanent sources are +30 Spirit from Act 1, +30 from Act 3, and +40 from the later campaign reward, which gives you 100 base Spirit before equipment.

Main sources

  • Campaign rewards: 100 total Spirit from the story progression.
  • Sceptres: a sceptre can give +100 Spirit as an implicit, and it can also roll extra Spirit as an affix, which is one of the easiest ways to push well past 200.
  • Amulets and body armour: these can roll additional Spirit, with amulets commonly cited as a strong slot for it.
  • Corrupted/Trial of Chaos items: some special drops can grant extra Spirit, but they are less flexible because they may be corrupted.
  • Unique items and special effects: a few uniques and class-specific effects can add more Spirit, depending on your build.

Practical path to 200+

A simple way to reach 200 is:

  1. Finish the campaign for 100 Spirit.
  1. Equip a sceptre for another 100 Spirit.
  1. Add Spirit rolls on your amulet or body armour to go beyond 200 if needed.

If your build cannot use a sceptre, then you usually need to stack Spirit on several gear pieces instead. Some builds also gain Spirit through ascendancy choices, but that is more build-specific.

Quick build check

  • Caster/minion builds: often easiest, because they can use Spirit-heavy gear and sceptres.
  • Melee builds: may need to compromise on weapon choice to fit enough Spirit, so gear optimization matters more.
  • Budget approach: campaign Spirit plus a decent sceptre is usually the fastest route to 200+.

TL;DR

Get the 100 campaign Spirit first, then use a sceptre and Spirit-affix gear to reach 200 or more. That is the most reliable setup for most builds.
