Horror mode in Sprunked Legacy is usually triggered by placing the Black character/icon onto an empty slot after starting the normal game. In some versions, you may need to place all the other characters first before Black will work.

Quick steps

  1. Open the game and start a normal session.
  1. Add the regular characters first if Black is blocked.
  1. Drag Black onto an empty character slot to switch into Horror Mode.
  1. Wait a moment for the screen to darken and the horror version to load.

Version differences

Some Sprunked/Sprunki builds let you enter horror mode immediately with Black, while others show a message like “Meet your friends first” until every required character is placed. One Sprunked page also describes a dedicated black switch in the lower-right corner that toggles Horror Mode.

Note

A few fan versions say there is no horror version at all, so the method depends on which Sprunked Legacy build you’re playing.

Short version: try the normal mode first, fill the character slots, then use Black.
