To get to Hill Giants in OSRS without an iron key, use the brass key route in Edgeville Dungeon. The key spawns in a small room just north of the Hill Giant area, and once you have it in your inventory you can use the shed west of Varrock west bank to enter directly.

Fast route

  1. Go to the Edgeville Dungeon entrance south of the Edgeville bank.
  1. Run through the dungeon past the mining area toward the Hill Giants section.
  1. Pick up the brass key from the small circular room near the Hill Giant area.
  1. Bring the brass key in your inventory and use the locked shed west of Varrock west bank for a quicker return path.

What to know

  • You do not need the brass key to fight Hill Giants once you are already inside the dungeon; it mainly helps you enter through the shed shortcut.
  • If you are an iron account, this is the normal way to unlock the shortcut, since brass keys can’t just be bought from the Grand Exchange like a main account can.
  • The key respawns regularly, about every 45 seconds.
