To get White Kyurem in Pokémon GO, you fuse a Kyurem with a Reshiram using 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy.

How it works

  • Catch or already own a Kyurem and a Reshiram.
  • Make sure the Kyurem knows Glaciate if you want White Kyurem to get the special attack Ice Burn.
  • Use the fusion option in your storage to combine them.
  • White Kyurem is not obtained as a separate wild catch; it comes from fusion.

Getting the materials

  • Blaze Fusion Energy comes mainly from White Kyurem raids.
  • Kyurem Candy comes from Kyurem raids or Rare Candies.
  • Reshiram Candy comes from Reshiram raids or Rare Candies.

Event timing

White Kyurem first appeared during GO Tour: Unova, with in-person availability and then a global release window in early 2025. It may return in future raid events, but the fusion rules stay the same.

Important notes

  • The fused White Kyurem keeps Kyurem’s IVs and shiny status, so a shiny Kyurem becomes shiny White Kyurem.
  • White Kyurem cannot be traded or transferred to Pokémon HOME.
