To remove a waypoint in Warframe, place the waypoint again on the same spot, or hold the waypoint key to clear it on supported controls. On PC, the default waypoint key is usually G ; on consoles, it’s the corresponding waypoint button on your layout.

Quick steps

  1. Aim at the marker location.
  2. Press the waypoint key once to place it.
  3. Press it again on the same spot to remove it, or hold it down if your control setup uses the hold-to-clear behavior.

Notes

  • A lot of players report the fastest method is simply double-tapping the waypoint key on the same point.
  • If that does not work, your keybinds may be different from the default, so check your controls in the game settings.

If you accidentally dropped a waypoint in a hallway, just look back at the same wall or floor spot and tap the waypoint key again to clear it.
