Open the official Roblox launcher once so it becomes the default again. The simplest fix is to run RobloxPlayerLauncher.exe from Roblox’s install folder, and then click Play from the Roblox website to verify it now opens normally instead of Voidstrap.

Steps

  1. Close Roblox and Voidstrap completely.
  2. Open Roblox’s local install folder, usually under C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Roblox.
  1. Run RobloxPlayerLauncher.exe directly.
  1. Open Roblox from the website and test a game launch.

If it still opens Voidstrap

  • Run RobloxPlayerLauncher.exe again; sometimes Windows needs a second launch to overwrite the handler.
  • If that fails, reinstall Roblox after deleting the Roblox folder in AppData, then launch a game once to reset the default launcher.

Important note

Voidstrap is a third-party Roblox bootstrapper, while the normal Roblox launcher is the official one; switching is mainly about which launcher Windows uses by default.
