To pair AirPods with a Fire TV Stick, open Settings on the Fire TV, go to Controllers & Bluetooth Devices, then choose Other Bluetooth Devices and Add Bluetooth Devices. Put your AirPods in pairing mode, select them when they appear, and confirm the connection.

Steps

  1. On the Fire TV Stick, press the Home button and open Settings.
  1. Select Controllers & Bluetooth Devices.
  1. Choose Other Bluetooth Devices and then Add Bluetooth Devices.
  1. Open the AirPods case and press and hold the button on the back until the light flashes white; for AirPods Max, hold the noise control button instead.
  1. Wait for the AirPods to show up on the Fire TV list, then select them to pair.
  1. Once connected, you should hear a confirmation chime or see a paired message.

Quick fixes

  • If the AirPods do not appear right away, wait 10 to 20 seconds and try again.
  • Keep the AirPods close to the Fire TV Stick during pairing.
  • If pairing fails, cancel and restart the Bluetooth scan.

Some older guides mention volume-control workarounds because Fire TV pairing can be limited depending on setup, but basic audio pairing with AirPods is widely supported.
