To remove a Roblox skin or avatar item, open your avatar editor, find the item under Recent or its category, and tap/click it again to unequip it. Roblox’s help pages say you can remove worn items from the avatar editor on web and mobile, and on mobile you can also turn the “Wear This” slider to No for an inventory item.

  1. Open Avatar in Roblox.
  2. Go to Recent or the relevant section like hat, hair, or body.
  3. Tap the highlighted item to remove it.
  4. If it does not refresh right away, use the Redraw option under your avatar preview.

If you mean body skin color

If you want to change the avatar’s skin color rather than remove an item, go to Body or Head & Body, then Skin Tone or Skin and pick a different color.

If it is a saved outfit

If “John Lawrence” is a saved outfit or preset, open the outfit menu and delete that saved avatar from the outfit list; Roblox-related guides describe using the avatar creator’s saved-item controls and delete options for stored looks.

One practical note

If the “skin” is actually classic clothing or a layered item, removing it from Recent or the matching category is usually the fastest fix, while skin tone changes only affect body color.
