You can return old Epic Water Filters by mailing them back to Epic’s recycling program. Epic says to send unboxed, unwrapped filters only with a note that includes your first and last name, shipping address, email address, and which free filter you want as the reward.

Where to send them

Epic’s recycling mail-in address is: Epic Water Filters Recycling
2209 S Dock St
Palmetto, FL 34221

What to include

  • The used filters only, with no extra packaging.
  • Your first and last name.
  • Your shipping address.
  • Your email address.
  • The free replacement filter you want.

Important limits

  • The program is currently only available in the US.
  • You pay postage.
  • Epic says to allow 3–4 weeks for processing.

If you mean a normal return

Epic’s general returns page says return requests go to [email protected], and some items like discontinued or closeout products are not accepted for return. That is separate from the recycling mail-back program for old used filters.

Practical note

If you only want to dispose of the filter rather than mail it back, Epic also says the plastic shell may be recyclable with “hard to recycle” plastics in some cases.
