To rotate sideways in Quantify on Roblox, use the rotate controls and switch the axis until the item turns on its side. On PC, the control shown for Quantify is Rotate = R / T and Change Axis = 1 / 2 / 3.

How to do it

  1. Pick up or select the shape/item.
  2. Press 1, 2, or 3 to change the axis.
  3. Press R or T to rotate it sideways.

If it won’t turn the way you want

  • Try a different axis first, because sideways rotation depends on which axis is active.
  • If you’re in Roblox Studio, the general Rotate tool lets you turn objects by dragging the rotation rings, and snapping can be adjusted in the Model tab if the rotation feels restricted.

Mobile or console

The same Quantify reference shows mobile uses on-screen buttons, while Xbox uses LB / RB for rotating and LT for axis changes.

Quick example

If the item is standing upright and you want it flat, change the axis once or twice, then press R or T until it lays sideways.
