To save a quiz you created in Microsoft Forms, open the quiz, then use the More options menu and either Move it to a group/Team or Share as a template so you can keep a copy. Microsoft’s help confirms quizzes are created and managed in Forms, and community guidance shows that moving or copying is the usual way to preserve them.

Save it for yourself

  1. Open the quiz in Microsoft Forms.
  2. Click the three dots or More options.
  3. Choose Share as a template if you want a personal copy.
  4. Open the link while signed into your own account and save the duplicate.

Save it for a Team or group

If you want the quiz to stay with a class, team, or organization, use Move and pick the Microsoft 365 Group or Team. That transfers ownership away from your personal account, which is important if you might leave the organization later.

Save results too

If you mean saving the answers people submit, open the quiz’s response area and export the responses to Excel. Microsoft Forms also supports collecting quiz responses in real time.

If you want a PDF

Some users try to print the quiz and choose Save as PDF from the print dialog, but that only saves a static copy of the quiz, not an editable version.

TL;DR: Use Share as a template to keep your own copy, or Move it to a group/Team to preserve it there.
