To send a mail to someone in Find My , you usually don’t email them from the Find My app itself. Instead, Find My helps you identify the person’s contact info, and then you send the email from your Mail app or Gmail app.

How to do it

  1. Open Find My and go to the person or contact you want to reach.
  2. Make sure you have their email address saved in Contacts if Find My is showing it there.
  3. Open your email app, such as Mail on iPhone or Gmail on Android.
  4. Tap Compose , enter their email in the To field, write your message, and send it.

If you meant forwarding an email

If your goal is to send an existing email to someone you found, open the email, choose Forward , type the recipient’s address, and send it.

Find My note

For location sharing in Find My, the person usually needs to be added through their contact details, often using the email address linked to their account.

The simplest path is: find the person’s email in Contacts/Find My, then compose a normal email to that address.
