If you mean the iPhone/Shortcuts prank, turn off the automation in the Shortcuts app: open ShortcutsAutomation → tap the prank automation → switch off Enable This Automation → tap Done. Apple’s support docs also say you can disable a personal automation the same way, and it will stop running automatically.

If it’s a shortcut pop-up prank

  • Open the Shortcuts app.
  • Go to Automation.
  • Tap the suspicious shortcut or automation.
  • Turn off Enable This Automation.
  • Tap Done.

If it’s a customized app icon

Sometimes the “prank” is just a custom app icon that launches Shortcuts first. In that case, remove the shortcut from the Home Screen or delete the shortcut in the Shortcuts app so the app opens normally again. A recent walkthrough also notes that these shortcut pop-ups are tied to customized app icons.

If it’s YouTube Shorts

If you meant Shorts on YouTube, there is no full off switch in the app, but on web you can hide the Shorts shelf for 30 days, and in the app you can mark them Not Interested one by one.
