Turn on content sharing for Roblox by changing the privacy setting that allows shared or community content. On Xbox, Roblox’s help page says to go to the account’s privacy settings and set “You can see and share content” to Everybody.

On Xbox

  1. Sign in to the parent or main account that controls the family settings.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Go to Account > Family and pick the child account.
  4. Open Privacy & online safety > Xbox Live privacy > View details & customize.
  5. Under Experience Content , set “You can see and share content” to Everybody.

If it still does not work

  • Also check Communication & multiplayer and set multiplayer access to Allow.
  • A Reddit report says reinstalling Roblox or reconnecting the Xbox account can fix cases where the setting seems stuck.
  • Roblox’s parental controls also include content restriction settings under the child account, so it’s worth checking those if you use family controls.
