how to use swap emote in jjs'
In JJS, the Swap emote is not for copying another player’s emote — it’s used to remove your own head accessory. The emote that puts a hat or similar item on someone else is Take my hat.
How to use it
- Open your emote wheel.
- Select Swap from your equipped emotes.
- Use it to remove your own head accessory.
For the emote wheel, JJS uses the emote menu opened with B on PC, and emotes are managed through the shop/inventory system.
Common confusion
A lot of players mix up Swap and Take my hat because they sound similar. The Reddit discussion says Swap only removes your own head accessory, while Take my hat is the one used for placing it on someone else.
Quick note
If you are trying to actually equip emotes, JJS players usually buy them from the shop, then assign them to the emote wheel through inventory.
TL;DR: Swap = remove your own head accessory; Take my hat = give one
to another player.
