reindeer where do they live
Reindeer live in the far northern parts of the world, mainly in Arctic and subarctic regions such as Greenland, Scandinavia, Russia, Alaska, and Canada. In North America, wild reindeer are called caribou and range across tundra, boreal forest (taiga), and some northern mountain areas. Many herds migrate long distances each year between forested wintering grounds and open tundra summer pastures, following the seasonal growth of lichens and other plants.
