A standard volleyball team has 6 players on the court per side.

In official indoor volleyball, each team fields 6 active players at a time, typically arranged as 3 in the front row and 3 in the back row. At competitive levels, the full squad (including substitutes) is usually around 12–14 players on the roster.

If you’re thinking about beach volleyball specifically, that version is played with 2 players per team on the court.
