Quick Scoop

“Seasonally migrated items” in Diablo 4 are the things from your seasonal character that get moved into the Eternal Realm when a season ends. That usually means your seasonal character, inventory, and stash contents carry over, while season-only mechanics or items do not.

What carries over

In the seasonal-to-Eternal transition, Blizzard’s general rule is that your character and normal loot are preserved, but the temporary season system is removed. Players on community forums and guides describe this as items on your character, in your inventory, and in your stash being transferred after the season ends. Cosmetics, mounts, and transmogs are also separate from seasonal gear and remain account-wide once unlocked.

What does not

Season-specific items and mechanics are the big exception. Examples from past seasons include items tied only to that season’s gimmick, which disappear once the season ends rather than becoming part of the permanent game. That’s why people sometimes describe seasonal migration as “everything moves over except the temporary season stuff”.

In plain terms

Think of it like this:

  • Permanent loot goes with you.
  • Season-only loot or powers get wiped when the season closes.
  • Your seasonal character becomes an Eternal Realm character afterward.

Practical example

If you finish a season with a rare weapon, gold, and crafting materials, those generally migrate with the character to Eternal Realm. If you also had a seasonal-only power, heart, or mechanic from that season’s special system, that part would not stay around.

TL;DR

Seasonally migrated items are basically your normal seasonal rewards and inventory that survive the season reset, while temporary season-only systems get deleted.
