Men’s UFC weight classes

These are listed from lightest to heaviest, with the upper weight limit for title fights.

  • Flyweight – up to 125 lb (56.7 kg)
  • Bantamweight – up to 135 lb (61.2 kg)
  • Featherweight – up to 145 lb (65.8 kg)
  • Lightweight – up to 155 lb (70.3 kg)
  • Welterweight – up to 170 lb (77.1 kg)
  • Middleweight – up to 185 lb (83.9 kg)
  • Light Heavyweight – up to 205 lb (93.0 kg)
  • Heavyweight – up to 265 lb (120.2 kg)

In total, that gives eight men’s divisions in the UFC.

Women’s UFC weight classes

Women’s divisions currently have four official classes in the UFC, again lightest to heaviest.

  • Strawweight – up to 115 lb (52.2 kg)
  • Flyweight – 116–125 lb (56.7 kg upper limit)
  • Bantamweight – 126–135 lb (61.2 kg upper limit)
  • Featherweight – 136–145 lb (65.8 kg upper limit)

So overall, the UFC runs 12 weight classes: 8 for men and 4 for women, all under the unified rules of MMA.
