Burning Thorns in Rayjjon’s mod is usually the Thornlands utility variant: it turns thorn blocks into Burnt Thorns , which lets you clear paths and access areas that would otherwise be blocked. Burnt Thorns can also be used as furnace fuel, smelting about 1.5 items, but they do not have a crafting use.
