Gill is the scarred blowfish in Finding Nemo who leads the Tank Gang, and by the end of the movie he and the other tank fish escape the dentist’s office and make it to the ocean. In Finding Dory , they show up again in the post-credits scene, still in plastic bags and later picked up near the Marine Life Institute.

What happened to Gill

Gill’s main story is that he keeps trying to help the other fish escape the tank. During one failed escape attempt, he got badly injured on dental tools, which is why he has the scars and torn fin.
