The first book of the Bible is Genesis.

Genesis opens with the words “In the beginning,” and tells the stories of creation, Adam and Eve, Noah and the Flood, the Tower of Babel, and the early ancestors of Israel such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph.
