For Elden Ring on keyboard and mouse, the default dodge hotkey is Space — it also functions as sprint/backstep depending on movement input.

Controller

  • Xbox: B to dodge/roll.
  • PlayStation: Circle to dodge/roll.

Small tip

If you press the dodge key while moving, you roll; if you press it without moving, you backstep.
