The Netflix movie Them is a French horror thriller about a young couple living in a remote country house who are terrorized by unseen intruders during the night.

Plot

Clémentine and Lucas think they’re alone in their home, but strange noises, stolen car keys, cut phone lines, and a growing sense of danger quickly turn the night into a survival nightmare. The tension comes from the fact that the attackers’ identities and motives stay unclear for much of the film.

Tone and style

It’s a lean, suspense-heavy horror movie rather than a monster or supernatural-fantasy story. The focus is on fear, isolation, and escalating panic as the couple tries to survive.
