Use the copper and tin ore to make bronze bars , then turn those into early-game gear or sell the bars/ores if you want cash. In Old School RuneScape, copper and tin are the basic ores used together for bronze, and bronze is the usual first step after mining them.

Best use

  • Smelt them into bronze bars at a furnace, using one copper ore and one tin ore per bar.
  • Smith bronze weapons or armor if you want starter equipment.
  • Bank the ores first if you don’t have the matching pair yet, so you can smelt in batches later.

Practical options

  1. Train Smithing. This is the most straightforward use if you are early in the game.
  1. Make bronze gear. Good for fresh accounts and basic combat progression.
  1. Sell them. If you care more about gold than skilling, unload the stack instead of processing it.

Quick rule

If you have both ores in similar amounts, keep them together and smelt bronze. If you have a messy stack with lots of one ore and not enough of the other, bank it until you can match them up.

Bronze is basically the “starter loop” for these ores: mine, bank, smelt, smith.

TL;DR: Smelt the copper and tin into bronze bars, then smith bronze items or sell the stack.
