Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (the former Prince Andrew) was arrested on 19 February 2026, on his 66th birthday, on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

He was taken into custody by Thames Valley Police in the morning of 19 February 2026, after officers arrived at Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, and he spent around 11 hours in custody before being released under investigation later that same day.
