Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested on 2 July 2020 by the FBI at a secluded property in Bradford, New Hampshire, in connection with charges related to Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse and trafficking of minors.

She was taken into custody early that morning and later appeared in federal court, where prosecutors argued she was a serious flight risk and she was denied bail.
