Your Facebook Memories are in the Memories section, which you can get to from the main menu on both the app and the website.

Where Memories Are

  • On the Facebook mobile app :
    • Open Facebook and tap the Menu icon (three lines or your profile picture, usually bottom right on iOS / top right on Android).
* Scroll down and tap **Memories**.
* If you don’t see it, tap **See more** and look for **Memories** there.
  • On desktop (browser) :
    • Go to facebook.com and log in.
* In the left sidebar, click **Memories**.
* If it’s not directly visible, click **Menu** first, then choose **Memories**.

What You’ll See There

  • Posts, photos, and life events from “On This Day” in previous years.
  • Memories where you were tagged (friends’ posts, photos, etc.), depending on your privacy and tag settings.
  • Sometimes not every old post appears, because the feature focuses on specific dates and types of content.

If Memories Seem Missing

  • Make sure you really have older posts from that specific date; if you never posted on that day in past years, nothing will show.
  • In the Memories page, tap or click the settings / gear icon and check:
    • Notification frequency (All memories / Highlights / None).
* Hidden people or dates that you might have excluded, which can hide certain memories.

If you still don’t see anything under Memories , try using Facebook’s search bar with a year or keyword (like “2016 photos”) to locate older posts directly.

TL;DR: Open Facebook → go to Menu → tap or click Memories → use See more or the gear/settings icon if you don’t see what you expect.
