Tupac Shakur was shot in a drive-by shooting at the intersection of East Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, just off the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, on the night of September 7, 1996. He was in the passenger seat of a black BMW driven by Suge Knight when a white Cadillac pulled up beside them at a red light and a gunman opened fire. Tupac was hit multiple times, including in the chest, arm, and thigh, and later died in hospital from his injuries.
