Alligator Alley is the nickname for the roughly 80‑mile stretch of Interstate 75 that runs east–west across southern Florida, connecting Naples on the Gulf Coast to Fort Lauderdale on the Atlantic Coast, through the Everglades and Big Cypress National Preserve.
