Boca Raton is a city on the Atlantic coast in southeastern Florida, in the southern part of Palm Beach County, just north of Fort Lauderdale in South Florida. It sits roughly 15–20 miles (about 25 km) north of Fort Lauderdale and is considered one of the wealthier coastal communities in the region.
