Where to find it

  • On desktop, open the shop page or listing page and look for Message or Contact seller near the top.
  • In the Etsy app, open the conversation from Messages and then use the photo/camera icon in the chat box to add an image.
  • If you already have a thread, open that thread and the upload/photo icon should appear in the message box.

If you do not see the pic option

  • Etsy may require the seller to have replied before buyers can send images in some cases.
  • Try starting with a text message first, then check the thread again after the seller responds.
  • If the upload icon is missing, it may also be a device/app issue.
