Montenegro is a small country in Southeast Europe, on the Balkan Peninsula, with a short coastline on the Adriatic Sea.

It borders:

  • Bosnia and Herzegovina to the northwest/north.
  • Serbia to the north/northeast.
  • Kosovo to the east.
  • Albania to the southeast/south.

Its capital city is Podgorica, and it sits along the central Mediterranean, across the Adriatic Sea from Italy.
