The zoom lever on the Hohem iSteady M6 is the lever next to the shutter button on the handle. Push it up to zoom in and down to zoom out ; Hohem’s tutorial also notes it works through the Hohem Joy app with Bluetooth connected.

On the iSteady M6, look on the grip for the shutter/zoom area. The zoom control is labeled in the manual as the Zoom Lever , positioned near the shutter button on the handle.

How it works

  • Lever up = zoom in.
  • Lever down = zoom out.
  • For phone zoom control, the gimbal should be connected to the Hohem Joy app via Bluetooth.

Common confusion

Some guides call it the zoom & shutter button area, which is why it can be easy to miss at first. If you’re holding the gimbal in shooting position, it’s on the main handle controls rather than near the motors or arm.
