You can find ATAR results in Queensland through two main online portals, depending on what you need.

Main ATAR result location

For your actual ATAR (the rank used for uni offers), you access it through the QTAC ATAR Portal.

  • Go to the ATAR section on the QTAC website and follow the link to the ATAR Portal.
  • Log in with your details (you will need your LUI and personal details you used when you set up the account).
  • Your ATAR statement appears in the portal under the ATAR/documents area once results are released.

Subject results vs ATAR

Your QCE subject results (individual subject marks, certificates etc.) are separate from your ATAR.

  • Subject results are viewed in the QCAA MyQCE / Student Portal.
  • Your ATAR is calculated and released by QTAC and is only visible in the QTAC ATAR Portal, not in the school or QCAA portal.

When ATAR results usually come out (QLD)

In Queensland, ATAR results for Year 12 are typically released in mid‑December at around midday through QTAC’s ATAR Portal.

  • For example, QTAC has listed the ATAR release time as midday on 18 December in recent years.
  • Once they are released, you can log straight into the ATAR Portal to see your rank and download your ATAR statement.
