Panthers in RDR2 are usually found in Lemoyne , especially south of Braithwaite Manor near Catfish Jackson’s and in the woods south of Bolger Glade, west of Shady Belle. The legendary panther is in the woods south of Bolger Glade and becomes available after you finish the required Master Hunter progress.

Good hunting spots

  • Catfish Jackson’s / south of Braithwaite Manor. This is one of the most reliable regular panther spawn areas.
  • North of Saint Denis / edge of the swamp and trees. This can work too, but it is often less consistent because of nearby activity.
  • Bolger Glade area. Best known for the legendary panther rather than the normal one.

Simple hunt setup

  • Go to the area early morning or at night if the spawn feels inconsistent.
  • Use cover scent and move slowly on horseback.
  • Watch the tree line with Eagle Eye and listen for growls or movement.
  • If it does not appear, leave the area and come back or reload your save.

If you want the easiest spot, ride to the woods south of Braithwaite Manor near Catfish Jackson’s. That is the most commonly recommended regular panther location in RDR2.
