You don’t purchase the Wolfsbane catalyst in Destiny 2 from an in-game vendor; it’s unlocked through the Heliostat Exotic Mission, where different catalysts are earned by finding datapads, interacting with terminals, and then finishing the mission.

How it works

  • First, obtain Wolfsbane by completing Heliostat.
  • Then run the mission on the required higher difficulty for the catalyst you want.
  • Collect the relevant datapad, activate the matching console/terminal, and complete the mission to unlock the catalyst.
