The site that is also called the “Taj Mahal of the Deccan” (or “Taj of the Deccan”) is Bibi Ka Maqbara in Aurangabad (now Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar), Maharashtra.

It is a Mughal-era mausoleum built by Prince Azam Shah in memory of his mother, and it closely resembles the Taj Mahal in Agra, which is why it has earned this nickname.
