Under the NSTP (National Service Training Program) in the Philippines, the people covered by the program implementation are all male and female college students who are:

  • Enrolled in any baccalaureate degree program, or
  • Enrolled in at least a two‑year technical–vocational course ,
  • In public or private higher or technical–vocational educational institutions.

They are generally required to take and complete one NSTP component (ROTC, CWTS, or LTS) for two semesters as a requirement for graduation, unless they fall under specific exemptions provided by law or implementing rules.
