Tina Fey is married to composer, producer, and director Jeff Richmond.

They met in the mid‑1990s while working at the Chicago improv theater Second City, where she performed and he was a pianist and later musical director. After several years together, they married in a Greek Orthodox ceremony in 2001 and have since collaborated frequently on projects like Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, and the Mean Girls musical and film musical.
