Daytona International Speedway is owned by NASCAR, which took full control of its former parent company, International Speedway Corporation, in 2019 and now owns the track through that structure. The speedway itself is operated by NASCAR under a long-term lease with the City of Daytona Beach that runs into the 2050s. Historically, the track was built and long controlled by the France family via International Speedway Corporation, and that legacy continues because the France family also controls NASCAR’s leadership.
