The main DJ on In Living Color was Shawn Wayans , who performed under the name DJ SW-1 in the early seasons of the show. In later seasons, the in-house DJ role was taken over by DJ Twist. Heavy D was not the DJ, but he did perform and co-write the show’s famous hip-hop theme song.
