Gulliver’s Travels was written by the Anglo-Irish satirist Jonathan Swift.

It was first published in 1726 under the much longer original title Travels into Several Remote Nations of the World. In Four Parts. By Lemuel Gulliver… , with the supposed author listed as the fictional traveler Lemuel Gulliver rather than Swift himself.
