who wrote the articles of confederation?

The Articles of Confederation were drafted primarily by John Dickinson , a delegate from Pennsylvania, who chaired the committee appointed by the Continental Congress in 1776 to create a plan of confederation for the new United States. Several other delegates contributed drafts and ideas, especially Benjamin Franklin and Silas Deane , whose earlier plans for colonial union helped shape the final document.
