In a devastating incident that unfolded in North Myrtle Beach, a small plane crash resulted in the loss of five precious lives. The incident occurred shortly after takeoff from the Grand Strand Airport, with the aircraft crashing just under a minute later near Barefoot Landing. The coroner’s office has released the identities of the victims, shedding light on the tragic events.
The victims of this heart-wrenching incident include 7-year-old Sean Gardner, 17-year-old Odaycia Edwards, and 32-year-old Tanique Cheu, all of whom tragically lost their lives at the crash site. The pilot and owner of the single-engine Piper PA-32 aircraft, 66-year-old Dr. Joseph Farnese, was also among the deceased. He was an experienced pilot who sadly perished at the scene.
Another victim, 42-year-old Suzett Coleman-Edwards, initially survived the crash and was promptly transported to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for medical attention. However, despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries later on.
